The hotel for this years District Fellowship Weekend will be The Royal Hotel in Bideford which is a member of the Brend Hotels, and the same group of hotels that we stayed in last year. I know that those of us who went enjoyed wonderful food and service at the hotel in Barnstable last year.
The cost of the weekend will be £53.00 per person per night for Dinner, Bed & Breakfast for a double or twin room, and £63.00 per person for single rooms. We would also be able to have Sunday lunch at the hotel before we depart, but I do not have a costing on that at the moment.
Could you please let me know as soon as possible if you would like to join us and to confirm your place with a deposit of £20.00 per person made payable to Mrs D L Dale . I have to let them know numbers as soon as possible, and could you let me know if you would like a double or twin room please.
It would be nice to have a few more people from the district join us for this weekend, we have a great time, and Saturday you are free to enjoy the wonderful coast line of North Devon or anything else you fancy in the area. The format of the weekend for those of you who have not been is:
Arrive Friday evening and have evening meal.
After dinner we usually have a quiz or something similar.
Saturday after breakfast is free to do whatever, and then we all meet up again for evening meal and then some sort of entertainment.
Sunday after breakfast we all go to church and then it’s back for Sunday lunch before we leave to go home.
